ITINERARY
I’ll be hosting another exciting photography workshop that will take you on a journey through the incredibly unique festivals, fairs and celebrations of India that are absolutely teaming with photo opportunities. From visiting some of the most iconic monuments in the best light, to exploring vantage points that only a few experienced guides know about, this workshop is designed to be a roller-coaster ride of new experiences and one-of-a-kind photographs.
Always being one step ahead of the tourists, we will start our journey amidst the chaotic streets of Delhi, a perfect place to warm up our shutter clicking fingers. Following the Yamuna River, we will then visit Agra, the place where the Taj Mahal rises from the dust-beaten earth of Uttar Pradesh, pure magic to the camera. Travelling westward our final destination will be the golden desert city of Jaisalmer on the way passing through Jaipur, Pushkar and the stunning Jodhpur.
The highlight of our time together will be experiencing Diwali in Jaipur. Here we will have the opportunity to capture the illuminating display of fireworks and lights that adorn the city’s many streets, temples, and markets making this incredible pink city of India come alive with joy and celebration.
The workshop will then take us to Pushkar, where you will witness the world’s largest Camel Fair. Each year around 200,000 people converge here, bringing with them some 50,000 camels, horses, and cattle. The fair also features various competitions, such as the longest moustache competition, offering a unique opportunity to capture the local culture and traditions of Rajasthan.
Our time together will include individual and group discussions, inspiring ideas, post processing secrets and great fun!

DELHI
Namaste! Welcome to India! We begin our journey amidst the chaotic tapestry of Delhi. A city sprawled around relics of lost empires, dusty bazaars, medieval fortifications, and home to 33 million people. Travellers sometimes leave Delhi underwhelmed after ticking off the sights. But give the city a chance and you will fall in love. It’s often the lesser-known corners that are the most rewarding, such as Lodhi garden at dusk, the Qawwali at Nizamuddin or the grand havelis of Old Delhi.
AGRA
Driving alongside the sacred Yamuna rive we then reach Agra. The place where the Taj Mahal rises from the dust-beaten earth of Uttar Pradesh. For over a century Agra was the center of India’s great Mughal empire, and its legacy lives on in beautiful artwork, mouthwatering cuisine, and magnificent architecture. Apart from being a masterpiece for environmental photography with incredible archways and great halls, Agra is full of fascinating stories and legends to indulge in as we explore its streets.

JAIPUR
Also known as the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state, Jaipur’s charming yet chaotic streets ebb and flow with a heady brew of old and new. Careering buses dodge dawdling camels, brightly coloured turbans blaze a trail through brilliant bazaars, and fluttering sarees catch the eye. However, in the midst of this mayhem, the splendour of Jaipur’s majestic past are islands of relative calm, evoking a different peace and another world.
PUSHKAR
Driving further east into the heart of Rajasthan we then reach Pushkar to witness the world’s largest camel fair. Set against the golden sands of Rajasthan, this annual spectacle transforms the tranquil town into a lively carnival of colours, culture, and commerce. Thousands of camels and livestock converge, creating a surreal backdrop for enchanting images. The vibrant chaos of traders, folk performances, and the spirited atmosphere offer endless photo opportunities where each frame tells a story

JODHPUR
And last but not the least, a city that can easily be called a photographer’s paradise and my personal favourite, the blue city of Jodhpur. Here the tangle of winding, glittering, medieval streets never seems to lead where you expect them to. Scented by incense, roses and sweets, the blue facades come alive as the sun bathes the city in golden light. Narrow alleyways wind through the heart of the city, revealing glimpses of daily life and the rich heritage that permeates every nook and cranny.
